Can a student join a course mid-semester?

The answer to this question depends on who is teaching the course. If you use your own instructor, then you are able to utilize the course in whatever way you deem best. If you are using an instructor outside of your school, the student will need to complete all of the semesters in order to receive a grade. We are unable to give partial credit for half completed semesters.
Another option your school has is to only give a grade on your transcript for a partial semester, even though on our end we add zeros for assignments not completed.
